I made cards for my children's teacher's and this is one of them. The round circles are thin cork sheets. It reminded me of bulletin boards in school. The stamp is pure innocence. The paper is october afternoon report card. I love this paper. I just found it and I feel in love with it. Anything that looks distressed or vintage I love.

Tart & Tangy
For these two cards I used some of my favorite brand of paper, "My Minds Eye". The paper is called quite contrary. I loved paper that looks antiqued. (Pickled Paper) The stampin up set is Tart & Tangy. I also used ribbon that was in the 60% sale called kiwi kiss. I used my mother's roses that she has planted in her back yard for the back drop. I love those roses!!! They are David Austin roses. They look vintage as well, just like Peonies!

Check This Out!

Happy Mother's Day everyone! I thought I would share a little helpful "Mom-Tip" today that I think could revolutionize your life. :) Have you guys heard of E-Mealz???!!!??? If not - you've GOT to check it out. I don't know if you're like me... but most evenings, my family is starving and I'm staring into my fridge, trying to figure out what I can make quickly with the supplies I have on hand. OR... I go to the store, spend $200, and then somehow still find that I have nothing to make. Several of my co-workers use this system and have been raving about it, so I decided to check it out for myself. Each week, you'll get a meal plan (there are lots of options including Cooking for 2, Cooking with Points, Cooking with groceries from a specific store, etc.), complete with recipes. It prints from your computer, along with a grocery list & price breakdown. The girls I work with have really enjoyed the recipes & love the fact that they're not cooking the same few meals over and over again. The plan is designed to really cut down your grocery spending & I'm always on the lookout for ways to save on our budget. I know we've been going out to eat way too much lately... and mostly because I haven't had time to plan our meals. So, anyway... I signed up today and wanted to spread the word. This site is recommended byDave Ramsey (for those of you who listen to his money saving radio commentary) --- and you can use the coupon code: Dave when you register to save even more.
