OCCASIONS MINI CARRYOVER PRODUCTS LIST...

The Occasions Mini Catalog will end in only two weeks on April 30! Today, Stampin' Up! has released their CarryOver Products List from the Occasions Mini Catalog. These are items that will continue to be available even though they are not in a Mini catalog or the Idea Book & Catalog.

Many of the items carrying over through the summer were expected (all the Big Shot products and punches), but I am ecstatic that some of the Seam Bindings, the Red Glimmer paper and trinkets were as well! However, I am quite sad that the super fun Pom Pom Trim and adorable Sweet Stitches Fabric Designer Brads are not. I will definitely be stocking up on those! We will have to wait until July 1 to see if any of the stamp sets will be in the new Idea Book & Catalog.

Instructions

1. Create 2" x 2" card from Peach Parfait Textured Card Stock.
2. Punch scallop edge using Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. Cut to 2". Adhere to top half of card front. Adhere strip of Peach Parfait Patterns Designer Series Paper (2" x 1-1/2") over scallop edge to cover holes. Stamp sentiment in Early Espresso ink on Designer Series Paper strip.
3. Punch blossoms from Baja Breeze Card Stock using Boho Blossoms Punch; distress flowers; ink with Moonlight Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink.
4. Punch blossoms from Always Artichoke Textured Card Stock using Boho Blossoms punch; cut petals to create leaves for flowers.
5. Adhere flowers and leaves to front of card. Adhere pearls to centers of flowers.

The paper I used was Sweet Stitches DSP. The big shot die is Fun Flowers. I also used a fabric button from Sweet Stitches.

Sweet Stitches

This is a 4 x 4 card made with the designer series paper Sweet Stitches. To make the spools I used the label punch and cut the ends to look like a spool.

Easter Blossoms

For this card I used the stampin up stamp set Easter Blossoms. The cardstock is crumb cake, blushing bride, old olive, and ivory. I used the Newsprint DSP. The blushing bride cardstock has the background flowering tree branch stamped in blushing bride ink on it.

Still trying out the Fred Bear Stamp

For this card i used the Welcome Neighbor Designer paper and some Baja Breeze seam binding ribbon. The cardstock doesn't show up in the picture but it is layered with crumb cake and baja breeze.

Springtime Vintage!

I do love this stampin up Springtime Vintage Paper. I also used a Beveled Windowpane with it. The ribbon is the new Baja Breeze seam binding that I love. There is also glitter on the flowers under the beveled windowpane. I used the Baby Blossom stamp set and the Framed Tulips textured embossing folder.

More of a Masculine Card

I am trying to come up with more birthday cards for boys and I am having a hard time. I like making cards that are more of a feminine nature. I do like the October Afternoon Campfire paper but I am still trying to come up with a card I like. I do not like this one but I am still working on it. I do have glitter on it and you cannot see it in the photo. (On the sun and flower) I do love glitter. I will keep working to make a card that I am happy with. Do you have any ideas for the campfire paper?

Act 70 Continue!

Curtain Call Act 70

Today's card is for this week's Curtain Call color challenge. This week's colors are tempting turquoise, whisper white, tangerine tango and pear pizzazz. Perfect for spring!

Valentines Love Song

For this card I used the Aviary stamp set for the little bird and the new baby blossoms set in the Occasions Mini Catalog from stampin up. I also used the Forest Friends stamp set for the little tree.

Pocket Cart with Scalloped Envelop!

For this pocket you just cut off the two side tabs of the scalloped envelop to make the pocket.

Front of Morning Cup Gift

Morning Cup Gift

First you will need a piece of card stock 8" X 81/2". Score it at 3 1/2" and 41/2" on the 8" side as seen above. Fold your lines to make the wallet. On the inside cover, you will need a piece of DSP, or pattern paper, cut at 3 1/4" X 8 1/4". The whisper white paper is 2 3/4" X 7". I used the spiral edge punch on the left side. I also distressed mine with Pear Pizzaz and a sponge. Next, you will need your Big Shot and Scallop Envelope Die. Cut out 3 of the envelope from cardstock. I cut two scallops from DSP, only placing the paper over the part of the die I needed. Place lots of sticky strips on the back of your envelopes. The scallop part is folded forward rather than back over this side as you would if you were putting a card inside.

Gum Valentine Gift

This is a treat that I am giving the ladies that are coming to my Loving You Creative Card class Thursday, February 3rd at 1:00. We will be making 3 cards with the items in the new Mini Occasions catalog. I love everything in that catalog!

Valentines Day Cards

For these cards I used the free rub on sheet that stampin up gave out to the demonstrators. These cards are 4x4 and fit in the little metal tin that was in the clearance section of stampin up. I did decorate the tin and put the cards in for a gift.

Valentines Greeting

For this card I used Greeting Card kids stamp set. The paper is Love Letter DSP. I also used the top note big shot die and the designer label large punch. The ribbon is the black and white striped Grosgrain 1 1/4" and the crochet trim. I used the glimmer brads and a red button.
